Bedroom styling ideas, plans for my bedroom

I recently came across LA based online store Parachute Home and their social media campaign 'what I love about my bedroom'. Their store is stocked full of beautiful, classic, yet affordable bedding, so I couldn’t help but join in.

With the ongoing renovation of our house, the main bedroom has been painted, a new bed is in place, and I am slowly going through the process of adding little bits and pieces to make the room more homely.

I love the dark wall colour. I know its not for everyone, but it is just so restful and really makes the white woodwork jump out. I’m also just a little bit in love with our BedNest upholstered bed and beautiful Mark Tuckey side tables.

For me the final styling elements don't happen all at once. Not only do I need to plan for the right pieces, but I need to save for them too! And so… I’ve got my eye out for all the bits and pieces to create a more comfortable and beautiful space. I can see a few items from Parachute Home fitting in nicely!

The team at Parachute Home design their range in the US, have it made in Italy, and then ship worldwide to you. Their whole concept centres around the idea that good quality bedding should be accessible. They support traditional craftsmen, and are passionate about ensuring that high quality design can been sold at an affordable price.

PS. More shots of my home and other projects will appear soon, along with a new venture partnering with experienced designer Christine McCoy. Stay posted....

  1. Dark wall colour, lamp, candle light was amazing. The bedroom was perfectly good with the exact interior design.
