My top 5 sources for kids bed linen

It seems kids bed linen is the latest fad in homewares. Some of the bigger brands have released new designs, including one who launched a range almost entirely copied from boutique and independent designers. Not cool…

There are plenty of small businesses who are producing high quality, original designs that are eco friendly and look beautiful. In the spirit of supporting creativity, here are my current top sources for kids bed linen.

Feliz Home has a gorgeous selection of bed linen with neon pops of colour. My favourite has got to be the 'Sprinkle Sprinkle' design. Prices start from $35 for a pillow case to $170 for a single doona cover. Each design is screen printed in Melbourne with non-toxic inks. Click here for more.

By Nord is a Scandinavian favourite in 100% organic eco-certified cotton. Single size 'animal' doona covers are available for $135 from Norsu Interiors

Fictional Objects have a great selection of colourful sheet sets and doona covers. This is their black zigzag doona cover with coral grid on the reverse side. Prices start from $65 for sheets to $150 for a single size doona cover, click here for more.

Scout Lifestyle was a stand out for me at Life Instyle this year, with coordinated designs for both boys and girls. Their website is not yet live, but isn't far off. You can sign up via a web page for notification on when the range is available for purchase online.

Finally, Etsy has some fabulous options for custom made sheet sets. Click on the image above for details.

PS. The lovely Belinda at Petite Vintage Interiors has teamed up with Laura Blythman to design a beautiful range of linen, launching soon. You can also source custom designed bed linen in all colours and patterns from Red Plum Linen. See… there really is no need to buy mass produced copies :)
